End of the Rainbow

All pages will embrace themselves
Our young blood will descend freely on cliff
Long lost bubbles will pop in the sky
And soon, parting will take part between you and I.

Chasing swells will soon touch the shore
As rain will quench the thirst of the earth
Sun rays will hide behind the cold night
And we'll end up hugging our pillows too tight.

The rhythm of our motion will have its final pose
And all our memories will haunt us like a ghost
Soon, the melody we sing will be punctuated
And we will hum it on our own when we take different crossroads.

The cards we play at night will be all dealt
And flashy candles amidst our conversations will soon melt
When all is fait accompli, the glow in our eyes will fade
And an unending darkness will we see beyond our eyelids.

Our captured smiles will soon lose its color
Dark clouds will then wash out everyone's humour
Our hellos will welcome the deep slopes of goodbye
Surely, seeing people leave will make me cry.

The numbers in our life will force us to walk away
Our dreams will say nay though we badly want to stay
Loneliness will flow through the veins of our friendship
And longing will soon put forth an excruciating heartsick.

We will seek life on our own, this I perfectly know
Our journey will soon reach the end of the rainbow
And we'll soon clasp the pot of gold situated in the end
I hope, we'll see each other again after the time rains.
