More Than A Profession

Teaching is not just a profession where teachers only explain a topic; instead, it is also a passion acted upon by dedication and determination to inspire and to guide students.
Teaching is all about awakening people's curiosity, allowing students to see vitality in themselves, and unlocking world's mysteries. It is the key to eradicate the ignorance that wraps people. It may not be the best shaper of man's destiny but I am pretty sure, without teaching, man's life is not amazing and not worth living. Teaching is an art: it does not invent future leaders, it discovers.
I just want to put emphasis to the words of Sir Josef Albers which made me smile and agree. He said that, "Good Teaching is more on giving right questions than on giving the right answers." It entails that making your students think critically and logically and giving them something to reflect on their minds are products of a good and an effective teaching. Teaching is not just merely telling but rather explaining, demonstrating, and inspiring. There is a need to rethink if your students truly understand what you're trying to put on their minds because students who are already in the right track and who finally headed their feet to success and triumph will be the greatest contribution, teaching will ever leave to the society.
Yes, teaching is the noblest profession. Some says, it won't make one rich, I must oppose. I say, as long as we've done our part and knowing that everyone respects us and remembers us with a deep of gratitude make us already rich.
